ABOUT PIONEER CEMENT LIMITED

PCL was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on February 09, 1986. Its shares are quoted on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The company commenced its operations with an installed clinker capacity of 2000 tons per day (tpd). During 2005, the capacity was optimized to 2,350 tons of clinker per day. In financial year 2006, another clinker production line of 4,300 tons per day capacity was completed. The company has installed & commissioned a 12 MW Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant (WHRPP) in December 2016.

Pioneer is in the midst of a brown field state of the art cement plant expansion with a 9000 tpd cement plant along with a 12MW Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant at a total estimated cost of PKR 30 billion under construction. A 24MW Coal Fired Power Plant is also under construction. The Company has executed contracts with Sinoma-Chengdu Design & Research Institute of Building Materials Industry Co., Ltd for the supply of machinery, equipment and technical services for this project.
